Iranian short film ‘Elephantbird’ has been selected to compete at the 2019 Marcellus Mini Movie Family Film Festival (M3F3) in the US.
“The last wish of an old Afghan man is to give his ‘elephant-bird’ (turkey) to his grandchild, but this simple wish is hard to realize,” a synopsis for the film reads.
Directed by Amir Masoud Soheili, the short has previously attended the 23rd AVANCA - International Meeting of Cinema, TV, Video and Multimedia in Portugal and the 14th Batumi International Art-House Film Festival in Georgia.
M3F3 aims to showcase the films which are fun for all members of a family. It selects the films which make the viewer think about their local environment.
The fest is taking place on 16th November 2019.
