Iranian animation ‘Pet Man’ has won an award at the 2019 Bogota International Animation Film Festival in Colombia.
The fourth edition of the Colombian film event has presented the Best Animation award to Marzieh Abrar-Paydar’s short flick.
‘Pet Man’ narrates the story of a pet shop owner who falls asleep in his shop. In his dreams, he sees himself in a scary cage with other animals. Trying to break the cage, he faces a barrier every time.
The short has so far attended various international film events, including the Lancaster Film Festival in the UK, the Tripoli Film Festival in Lebanon, and the Cinema Planeta Film Festival in Mexico.
The short film have grabbed a number of awards, including the Best Animation award from the Largo International Film Festival in Switzerland and the Best Animation award at the Canterbury Anifest in the UK.
The latest edition of the Bogota International Animation Film Festival kicked off on October 31 and it was ended on November 04, 2019.
