The Tokyo University of Foreign Studies has screened Iran documentary feature film ‘The Last Super’ by Mohammad Qane-Fard.
Organized by the cultural section of the Iranian embassy in Tokyo, the screening session was attended by over 100 students from various departments, particularly students of Persian, Arabic and Turkish languages.
The 68-minute film is about the lives of Muslims and Christians in Syria. It particularly focuses on the area of Jaramana in Damascus and Christian historical village of Ma'loula, near Damascus in Syria.
The film has won several awards from international film festivals including the monthly Calcutta International Cult Film Festival in India.
‘The Last Super’ was present at the 2016 edition of "Cinema Vérité", Iran International Documentary Film Festival and it was also screened at the second Iranian Film Week in Japan this summer.
