The Cologne International Children's Film Festival has hosted Iranian short animation ‘I Wish I Had a Brother’.
Directed by Nahid Shamsdoust, the animated piece was screened at the Cologne International Children's Film Festival – Cinepanz.
‘I Wish I Had a Brother’ alongside six other animations represented Iran at the 30th edition of the event which took place in the German city on November 16-24, 2019.
The 10-minute animation is a production of Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults.
The short animation depicts a young boy who dreams about having a brother and playing with him.
Earlier in May and June, seven movies produced at the IIDCYA were reviewed at the Visions of Iran, a festival of Iranian films that is organized every year by Museum Ludwig in the German city of Cologne.
