Iranian feature film ‘All Night Long (Sarasar Shab)’, starring Elnaz Shakerdoust, is expected to premiere in the next few months.
Iranian film producer Javad Norouzbeigi said, “We are trying to screen the movie this [Persian] year and before the start of Fajr Film Festival.”
Directed by Farzad Motamen, ‘All Night Long (Sarasar Shab)’ is starring Elnaz Shakerdoust, Amir Jafari, Azadeh Samadi and Mehdi Soltani, among others.
Co-written by Zamyad Sadondian and Motamen, the film is a modern social drama.
“To find a trace of Dawod Moradi, who was the last person to be in touch with her sister Maryam before her long sleep, Mahtab goes to the neighborhood of Dawod in order to find answers to her questions,” a synopsis for the film reads.
The Fajr Film Festival coincides with the Ten-Day Fajr (Dawn) ceremonies across Iran, marking the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
The 38th Fajr Film Festival is set to kick off on February 1, 2020 and will run until February 11 in Tehran.
