As a tribute to martyr Major General Qasem Soleimani, Ebrahim Hatamikia’s ‘Damascus Time’ movie narrates the story of a general who goes far to save the innocents.
In a scene captured from the Iranian movie on the resistance against the terrorist group of Daesh, a general sacrifices his life to save a number of innocent civilians. His martyrdom, although a great loss for the army, proved how brave he was to do such an enormous selfless deed.
‘Damascus Time' zeros in on security threat by terrorists when an Iranian plane, conveying humanitarian aid to Syria, is challenged in Damascus Airport.
The film had its first international premiere at the Cannes Film Market.
Popular Iranian actors such as Babak Hamidiyan and Hadi Hejazifar as well as a number of actors from Syria and Lebanon star in the movie.
