American actress Patricia Arquette criticizes US president for publishing threatening tweets to Iran.

American actress Patricia Arquette has criticized US President Donald Trump for publishing threatening tweets to Iran.

While receiving her award on the Golden Globes stage, Arquette used her time to criticize Trump who has been publishing tweets to threaten Iran.

She said, “We will see a country on the brink of war, the United States of America, a president tweeting out a threat of 52 bombs including cultural sites, young people risking their lives traveling across the world, people not knowing if bombs are going to drop on their kids’ heads.”

The commentary follows US drone strikes that resulted in the martyrdom of Iranian top commander General Qassem Soleimani in the Iraqi capital Baghdad early on Friday.

Arquette who has been a long-time critic of Trump and his administration won the best supporting actress award for playing in the TV series ‘The Act’.
