The Beyoglu Academy in Turkey has reviewed a lineup of nine Iranian movies during a special program titled “Iranian Film Days”.
Located on the European side of Istanbul, the academy screened the Iranian movies on January 15-17, 2020.
‘Today’ by Reza Mirkarimi, ‘Azar, Shahdokht, Parviz and Others’ by Behrouz Afkhami, ‘Sweet Taste of Imagination’ by Kamal Tabrizi, ‘Where Are My Shoes?’ by Kioumars Pourahmad and ‘Track 143’ by Narges Abyar went on the Turkish screen during the three-day festival.
The lineup also included ‘Bodyguard’ by Ebrahim Hatamikia, ‘Crazy Castle’ by Abolhassan Davoudi, ‘Mazar Sharif’ by Hassan Barzideh and ‘Once Upon a Time, Love and Betrayal’ by Davoud Bidel.
Director of ‘Crazy Castle’ and Turkish director Faysal Soysal have been scheduled to attend the program.
“Iranian Film Days” was organized by Iran’s Cultural Office in Istanbul in collaboration with the Beyoğlu District Municipality.
