Iranian director Mehran Malakouti’s feature movie ‘No. 4’ will make its international debut at the Zlín Film Festival (ZFF) in the Czech Republic.
The 92-minute movie narrates the story of a young adult boy whose father is dead, which he denies the possibility. He then picks up the role of the father in his family, which is facing many problems ahead.
The Zlín Film Festival is also known as the International Film Festival for Children and Youth, with the 57th edition of the festival to take place from May 26 – June 3.
The ZFF is among the oldest and largest events of its kind worldwide. The audience consists mainly of children and youth from the Zlín region. However, the festival also caters to university students and adult visitors to whom late-night screening slots with appropriate dramaturgy are devoted. More and more film professionals from all over the world come to Zlín.
