San Diego Mobile Filmfest to screen two Iranian titles

'Finish Line' and ‘Elsinor’ are to screen at the 10th Int'l Mobile Film Festival in the US.

Two Iranian short titles have made way into the competition program of the 10th International Mobile Film Festival (IMFF) in the US.

The short flicks, which are both shot with smart phones, include ‘Elsinor’ by Ehsan Majouni and ‘Finish Line’ by Saeed Mayahi.

‘Finish Line’ is the story of a female athletic who is trying to get back in fields from her accident. The short is filmed with an iPhone 7.

Majouni’s ‘Elsinor’, which was captured with an iPhone 6s, goes into the details of an event taken place during a wedding.

‘Elsinor’ had already attended the 36th edition of Tehran International Short Film Festival.

The International Mobile Film Festival is created for films and videos shot with only mobile phones for the big screen.

A total of 26 short films between 1 and 5 minutes in length have been officially selected to screen at the upcoming edition of the Int’l Mobile Film Festival.

The IMFF is slated for April 24-26, 2020 in San Diego.
