Ebrahim Hatamikia’s new film is set to be screened via web-based video-on- demand services before theatrical release in Iran.
The decision was made in keeping with the spirit of helping people who have to stay at home due to the coronavirus endemic.
The film’s media advisor said to a local new agency that Hatamikia’s ‘Exit’ will be released through VOD platforms prior to public screening in cinemas across Iran.
The advisor also said the revenue gained through VOD screenings will boost the film’s overall gross as well as keeping people entertained in these days.
Exit’ depicts the story of a group of farmers who travel to the capital in order to voice their concerns to government officials.
Starring in the film are Faramarz Qaribian, Pantea Panahiha, Jahangir Almasi, Giti Qasemi, Mehdi Faqih, Sam Qaribian, and Atash Taqipour.
