Cinema Patologico to host Iran ‘Hug Me’

Iran short ‘Hug Me’ is to attend the Int’l Fest of Cinema Patologico in Italy.

Iranian short film ‘Hug Me’ has been slated to attend the International Festival of Cinema Patologico in Italy.

Directed by Ahmad Seyyed-Kashmiri, the 10 minute short will be in competition at the Short Film sections of the 11th edition of the Italian film event.

‘Hug Me’ narrates the story of a woman who feels left out at her married life. She is seeking to get her husband’s attention and his affections.

The cast list of the short includes Maryam Babaee and Nader Sirousmehr.

‘Life Gone with the Wind’ directed by Siavash Saed-Panah is also scheduled to attend the event.

The International Festival of Cinema Patologico is divided into two sections of feature film competition and short film competition.

The short films should be of maximum 15-minute duration.

The festival intends to promote young Italian and foreign cinema and accepts works with a wide range of subjects and themes.

This year edition of the event will hold online due to the Coronavirus pandemic on April 23-26, 2020.
