Polish Kinolub to host Iran’s ‘Paradise Dwellers’

Iran short ‘Paradise Dwellers’ is to attend Int’l Filmfest for Children and youth Kinolub in Poland.

Iranian short film ‘Paradise Dwellers’ has been scheduled to attend the International Film Festival for Children and youth Kinolub in Poland.

Directed by Ramin Samani, the short will be in contention at the Short Films competition program of the 6th edition of the Polish film event.

A brief synopsis for the flick reads, “Fatameh, a young girl, is home alone with her paralyzed grandmother. She needs to take care of her granny. Once as her grandmother needs to go to the toilet, Fatameh finds herself helpless to put her on the wheelchair. Needing for some stronger pair of hand, she has no choice but to ask Ali, the neighbor’s son. Her mother, however, will not allow her to see the boy”.

‘Paradise Dwellers’ has already attended a number of international film events including the Buff Malmo Film Festival in Sweden.

KINOLUB is an international film festival which creates an environment for young people to actively and keenly participate in the cultural life and to develop new mindful audiovisual audiences.

The program includes motion pictures from all over the world – rich in artistic quality and conveying important messages. It is a non-commercial event.

Over the COVID-19 pandemic, this year edition of the event will not be held in the month of June as the previous years. Instead, it is rescheduled to hold in October, 2020.
