Iran’s ‘Red Flower Death’ to compete in Armenia

Iranian short ‘Red Flower Death’ is to vie at the One Shot Int’l Film Festival in Armenia.

Iranian short title ‘Red Flower Death’ has been set to compete at the One Shot International Film Festival in Armenia.

The Iranian Youth Cinema Society reported that ‘Red Flower Death’, written and directed by Saman Kafi, will take part at the 18th edition of the Armenian event.

The film narrates the story of a boy who visits the grave of one of his loved ones with a bouquet of flowers.

The One Shot International Film Festival “is an open cinema platform”, the event’s website reads.

The festival’s competition program consists of three categories: "One Minute - One Shot", "Short Movies" and "Cinema Without Border".

The 18th edition of the One Shot will take place on June 4-10, 2020.
