Indian television actress Preksha Mehta has committed suicide at the age of 25 over the alleged pressure of coronavirus lockdown.
Mehta hanged herself at her house in Indore on Monday, media reports said.
Her body was found on Tuesday by one of her family members, who said she had left a suicide note but did not mention the reason why she took her life.
“Nothing is worse than your dreams dying,” she said in her last story on Instagram, Indian media reports said.
Mehta took part in TV series such as 'Crime Patrol', 'Laal Ishq' and 'Meri Durga'.
The actress reportedly went into depression due to being jobless following the coronavirus lockdown.
Earlier this month, Manmeet Grewal, another Indian actor, committed suicide as he was facing financial problems and as the projects he had at hand were suspended due to the lockdown measures that were imposed to stop the spread of the coronavirus.
