Iran short to visit Spanish Riurua filmfest

Riurau Filmfest in Spain is to screen Iran short ‘The World’s Last House’.

The Riurau Film Festival (RRFF) in Spain has scheduled to screen Iranian short film ‘The World’s Last House’.

Directed by Amir Gholami, the 18-minute short will be in competition at the 9th edition of the Spanish film event.

The short is a dark comedy that narrates the story of a man living in a remote away village. He wants to make a change and better the living conditions of the villagers, while another man is seeking to destroy his life with his three bullets.

The script for the flick has been developed by Payam Mahmoudi-Kordestani who is the producer of the work too.

Fereydoun Ansari, Mohammad-Rauf Mohammadi, Foad Mardoukhian and Ashraf Khalili are cast members of ‘The World’s Last House’.

Established in 2012, the RRFF is an international film event which aims to showcase short films. It also means to be a platform for the short filmmakers to meet and have a chance to see their films in competition.

The latest edition of the event is slated for August 28-September 11, 2020.
