The animation is produced Seyyed-Masoud Safavi and directed by Mani Vatandoust.
The 76-minute flick narrates the story of a young frog named Sabzak, who lives in an imaginary city.
It’s going to start there, when Sabzak feels clever by eating of a pumpkin smart seeds and wants to unite everyone together by fixing the city clock, in order to help the whole city.
Launched in 2010 in Sofia, the Golden Kuker is the first animation film festival in Bulgaria.
The IAFF is a platform to showcase the best of global and Bulgarian animations aiming at promoting the creativity of this art.
This year’s edition of the IAFF will be held online on August 1-5, 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
‘This Side, Other Side’ by Lida Fazli, ‘Greyish’ by Eqbal Shirzaee-Sani, ‘Rainy Recollection’ by Masoud Qodsieh, ‘Mr. Indifferent’ by Aryasb Feiz, ‘Tangle’ by Maliheh Gholamzadeh, as well as ‘Malayz’ by Leila Ahang, Sara Hanif, Maryam Alavi and Marziyeh Kordlou are the other Iran representatives at the Bulgarian event.
