Written and directed by Alireza Gholami, the short film is about life in the time of COVID-19.
The nine-minute ‘Banner’ competed at a number of film festivals before, including American Golden Picture Festival and First-Time Filmmaker Sessions.
The cast of the short film include Mohammad Shariflou, Fariba Ezzati and Rasoul Gholami.
JIFFA aims to provide a platform for showcasing the best of world’s cinema.
The festival is an opportunity to understand and appreciate the film culture of different countries. It promotes friendship and cooperation among people of the world.
The upcoming edition of the event will take place on October 9-11, 2020.
