Iranian ‘Dog Fight’ to vie at Middlebury New Filmmakers

Iranian short ‘Dog Fight’ is set to vie at the Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival in the US.

Iranian short title ‘Dog Fight’ is selected to vie at the 2020 edition of the Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival in the US state of Vermont.

Produced, written and directed by Ali Aref-Nasab, the short title depicts organized dogfighting. 

In the film, two men place their bets on fighting dogs which turns into a bigger war.

Mohsen Sadeqi and Kazem Namvar are the main cast of the 13-minute short.

The Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival promotes and showcases films by emerging voices in cinema.

The 2020 edition of the event will be held online due to the coronavirus pandemic on August 27-30.
