Iranian short ‘Doubt’ to run at Threadbare Mitten

Iranian short ‘Doubt’ is to compete at the 4th Threadbare Mitten filmfest in the US.

Iranian short flick ‘Doubt’ has been selected to compete at the 4th edition of the Threadbare Mitten Film Festival in the US.

Written and directed by Ali Tasdiqi, the flick depicts Amir and Nazi, who encounter some strange events while driving on mountainous roads.

Pejman Jamshidi, Niloufar Koukhani, and Shahram Shariat are on the cast list of ‘Doubt’.

Produced by Farhad Qadimi, the short film is the first directing experience by Tasdiqi.

He has cooperated in the production of more than 50 film projects as a special effects designer and color correction expert.

The Threadbare festival welcomes films with various genres and calls itself “an eclectic and eccentric celebration of genre cinema”. This year’s edition of the fest will be held on September 3-7, 2020.

The 4th Threadbare Mitten Film Festival will also screen ‘Slaughter’ by Ako Zand-Karimi and Saman Hosseinpour, ‘Dog Fight’ by Ali Aref-Nasab, ‘The Stain’ by Shouresh Vakili, ‘Too Loud a Silence’ by Elsa Firouz-Azar, and ‘Light Room’ by Pouya Aqelizadeh, all from Iran.
