Iranian short film ‘Wrinkles’ is set to be screened at El Ojo Cojo International Film Festival in Spain.
According to the Iranian Youth Cinema Society, the 10th edition of El Ojo Cojo will feature ‘Wrinkles’ (Chorouk), written and directed by Behrad Ezzati.
‘Wrinkles’ is about a maid, who is forced to pretend to be an old woman so that she can enter an old man's house with Alzheimer's.
The 10th edition of El Ojo Cojo International Film Festival will take place in November 2021 in Spain’s capital, Madrid.
The festival’s main goal is “to promote intercultural dialogue and integration of socially disadvantaged populations sharing films that usually don’t reach the Spanish commercial film market, fundamentally sensitizing people about the different realities that exist trying not to fall into clichés”, according to an online submission platform.
