India’s Jharkhand Int'l Film Festival & Awards is to screen 3 short films by Seyyed-Morteza Sabz-Qaba.

India’s Jharkhand International Film Festival & Awards (JIFFA) has set to screen three short films, directed by Iranian filmmaker Seyyed-Morteza Sabz-Qaba.

The Iranian Youth Cinema Society reported on Tuesday that Sabz-Qaba’s short films ‘A Trivial Thing’, ‘Belonging’, and ‘From Us’ have been selected to vie at the 3rd edition of the Indian event.

‘A Trivial Thing’ narrates the story of a young man who wishes to become an actor.

Meanwhile, ‘Belonging’ is about Maryam and Malik, a young couple who have recently divorced. Every week, Maryam brings their daughter to a workshop where she can meet her father according to the court’s sentence.

Sabz-Qaba’s third film shortlisted for the JIFFA is an 18-minute black-and-white film. ‘From Us’ managed to grab many awards at different international film festivals.

The upcoming edition of the Jharkhand International Film Festival & Awards will take place online on October 9-11, 2020.
