ifilm’s feature ‘So Close, So Far Away’ is to be aired on September 26, 2020.

ifilm’s feature film ‘So Close, So Far Away’ (So Close, So Far) has been scheduled to be aired on September 26, 2020.

The movie, written, produced and directed by Reza Mirkarimi, is about Mahmoud Alam, a highly successful surgeon who lives a good life in Tehran; or at least it seems so.

But he has dedicated most of his time to appearing on TV talk shows and having fun with his friends; so he does not seem to have enough time for his family, especially his son, Saman.

Not only does Mahmoud miss his son’s birthday, but also he fails to give his son’s birthday present which is a telescope that Saman needs for an astronomy contest being held in a desert village.

When Mahmoud learns that Saman is suffering from a severe illness, he does everything he can to reach him in order to deliver the telescope in time.

But the closer he gets, the farther away he seems.

The movie cast list includes Masoud Rayegan, Afshin Hashemi, Elham Hamidi, and Reza Tavakkoli.

‘So Close, So Far Away’, made in 2004, is scheduled to go on air at 22:00 GMT.

ifilm English will also repeat the movie the next day at 04:00, 10:00 and 16:00 (all GMT times).
