No matter where we live, it's an everyday violence, affecting close to a billion girls and women over their lifetimes. Based on statistics released by the UN, one rape happens every 120 seconds somewhere in the world,” the director of the film said, adding “inspired by true events happened in the city I live, 'Trauma' shows how such event changes the victim's personality, forever.”

The film stars Zohreh Naeemi and Alireza Mehran.
