Iranian ’52 Hertz’ to compete at Santa Teresa Int’l filmfest

Iranian short ’52 Hertz’ is to compete at the 2020 Santa Teresa Int’l filmfest in Spain.

Iranian short film ’52 Hertz’ has been selected to compete at the 2020 Santa Teresa International Film Festival (STIFF) in Spain.

The short will compete with 56 other international works at the 10th edition the STIFF.

Made and written by Asghar Abbasi, ’52 Hertz’ narrates the story of the people who change their destiny with impromptu decisions.  

Abbasi has so far directed more than 20 short films and documentaries and grabbed several awards. He says, “making ’52 Hertz’ was a challenging experience, but I’m glad I could do it”.

The STIFF celebrates the art of filmmaking while providing an opportunity for filmmakers to promote their projects, and to network with other artists from across the globe.

The event will be held on October 21-27, 2020.
