‘The Bachelors’, directed by Asghar Hashemi, is a funny, comedy movie that takes audience away from the stressful life.
Written by Farhad Tohidi, the film is about three young men who wants to travel abroad to achieve their dreams, but they could not take that step due to a specific incident. The trio was later forced to work at a woman-run workshop.
The cast members of the movie were perfectly selected from among popular Iranian stars. They include Majid Salehi, Mohammad-Reza Foroutan, Atila Pesyani, and Elnaz Shakerdoust.
The film was well-received when it was premiered in Iran more than a decade ago.
However, some reviews said the film music has nothing to do with the movie, while others considered addressing the trio’s problems superficially as a weakness.
