Directed by Nazanin Sobhan-Sarbandi, the 6-minute animation is experiencing its tenth international presence at the SFF.
‘The Cycling Wind’ is an adaptation of a story written by Farhad Hassanzadeh and is about a young wind that comes into possession of a bike, which helps the wind to blow even faster without spending much energy.
The animation has previously gone on screen at several global events, including the Glasgow Short Film Festival in Scotland, the Dytiatko International Children’s Media Festival in Ukraine, the International Film Festival for Children and Youth KINOLUB in Poland, the Tumbleweeds Film Festival for Kids in the US, and the Canterbury Anifest festival in the UK.
The SFF aims to promote international independent cinematography. Every year the festival receives about 1,500 works from around the world.
The 2020 edition of the festival has been slated for December 10-15.
