Iranian actress Hanieh Tavassoli is scheduled to appear in a new theater play titled ‘Sound and Fury’ directed by Mehrdad Rayani-Makhsous.
The new theater play is slated to be held starting from December 22, 2017 at Tehran’s Shahrzad Theater.
The play is the life story of three prisoners in three episodes. Each of them narrates his life in one of the episodes with the help of the others.
Born June 4, 1979 in Hamadan, Hanieh Tavassoli was a high school student when she decided to become an actress. She attended theater classes and studied playwriting at Azad University in Tehran.
Her first performance was in a TV series called 'The Stranger' in 2000 and the next year, she earned the award for best actress at Tehran International Short Film Festival for 'On the Wet Road' (2001).
She has acted in more than 20 movies and theaters and has won some awards such as the Crystal Simorgh for 'The White Nights' (2002).
