Iranian short film 'Forouzan' is to vie at the High Peak Independent Film Festival in the UK.
Directed by Abbas Khosravinejad, the film will be screened at the competition section of the event.
‘Forouzan’ narrates the story of a young woman whose husband has recently passed away.
She lives with her two young children in a village, and protects a herd of sheep against the night attacks by thieves.
The High Peak Independent Film Festival celebrates shorts and feature films from filmmakers, of all ages, around the world.
The aim of the festival is to showcase the best of up and coming, independent filmmakers.
The four-day event will be launched on June 14-17, 2018.
